The AUBRIETTE is native to the southern regions of Europe and flowers from March to June. Its flowers are pink, white or purple. This perennial plant with persistent foliage grows up to 20 cm high and is perfectly resistant to cold temperatures (down to -15°C) which makes it a hardy plant. Its exposure to sun and partial shade is done in ordinary soil (it even tolerates calcareous and dry soils). The Aubriette is used in borders, in rockeries, as ground cover, in pots and in planters! It is planted in spring.
