CITRUS FRUITS are characterized and distinguished from most other fruits by their quartered structure, derived from the carpels. They designate:


All citrus fruits will be planted in full sun, sheltered from the wind, in non-calcareous and rather light soils. Planting citrus fruits in spring allows an immediate recovery of the plants as for planting in the fall, it allows the tree to develop roots and to strengthen itself. Citrus fruits include exclusively the following varieties: Orange, lemon (yellow, green or lime), mandarin, grapefruit or pomelo, kumquat, bergamot ... without forgetting the many varieties such as clementines or blood oranges ...
