PETUNIA and its many varieties (POTUNIA, SURFINIA, etc.) bloom in late spring, summer and autumn. This makes it a great friend to gardeners. Its flowers are white, pink, red or purple. This perennial flower, grown as an annual with persistent foliage, will reach a height of 30 cm when mature. Not very hardy, it likes exposure to the sun and moderately rich, light, drained soil with neutral acidity. PETUNIA is grown in pots, planters, hanging baskets, clumps, rockeries or low walls and is planted in spring. It is propagated by sowing in February-March at 15°C and by cuttings in August. Our advice for pruning: remove faded flowers as they appear and add fertilizer rich in potash to encourage flowering.
