The APRICOT TREE is a drought-resistant and fairly easy-to-live-with fruit tree: maintenance is minimal, and pruning is optional. The apricot harvest is very dependent on the weather, but in the worst case, you will at least have enjoyed a very decorative flowering in early spring. When ripe, it can reach 5 to 6 meters in height. It is planted from November to March with bare roots, it flowers in March and the harvest is from June to early August depending on the variety. Its preferred exposure: the sun. And for the soil, it must be deep, well-drained, warm, even stony, rather calcareous. Watering is useful in case of severe drought.
